Prior to working with the firm, she served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for over 12 honorable years.
While serving in the Air Force, Michelle assisted Air Force prosecutors on over 100 courts-martial and administrative discharged boards. After working with numerous prosecution teams, Michelle served as a defense paralegal for the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Area Defense Counsel where she assisted defense teams advocate for the rights of over 200 clients. In this role, Michelle gained significant experience in helping defend clients accused of drug and sex offenses.
During her active duty career, Michelle was also the paralegal in charge of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska’s military claims tort division. In that role, she gained valuable litigation experience by handling both adverse and pro-government tort claims’ cases. She also deployed twice during her career, first to United Arab Emirates and then to Afghanistan. Michelle left active duty to provide stability for her young family.
Michelle utilizes her Air Force leadership experience to manage the firm’s day-to-day operations. Moreover, she assists Brad with each case to develop the investigation plan and overall case strategy. Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from American Military University. She works remotely from her home in California where she resides with her husband and their two sons.
