Katey McMurrough earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2025 after receiving her bachelor’s degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks where she focused on psychology and legal studies. During undergrad and law school, Katey gained experience working with several criminal defense firms in Texas and Alaska where she developed a strong interest in criminal and constitutional law.

Katey has spent most of her life in Alaska and brings a grounded understanding of the legal and practical issues facing Alaskans. Outside. Of her legal practice, Katey enjoys taking advantage of Alaska’s outdoor lifestyle with her Shetland sheepdogs, Finn and Gus.
