Genefer Middleton brings a wealth of legal expertise and leadership to the firm. Her career as a paralegal spans more than 20 years, characterized by her exceptional attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a natural ability to empathize with and care for clients.
Prior to entering private practice, Genefer dedicated over 20 years of honorable service to the U.S. Air Force. Throughout her distinguished military career, she served in critical legal roles, supporting both prosecuting and defense attorneys. Her extensive portfolio includes managing caseloads for countless courts-martial, nonjudicial punishments, administrative discharges, household goods claims, wills, powers of attorney, and notary services. Among her many military accomplishments, her premier assignment was serving the Numbered Air Force at Yokota Air Base in Japan, near Tokyo. She later concluded her military service and retired as an Assistant Law Manager at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia.
Following her retirement, Genefer chose to settle down in Charlotte, North Carolina, entering a well-deserved chapter focused on family and higher education. While raising her two children through their high school years, she dedicated herself to finishing her own studies. Genefer earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology from Saint Leo University, where she previously completed an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. She also holds Associate Degrees in Paralegal Studies, as well as Fitness, Recreation, and Hotel Management from the Community College of the Air Force. Her passion for education passed down to her children; her daughter graduated college in 2024, and her son is on track to graduate in December 2027.
Genefer currently works remotely in Charlotte, North Carolina.
