Patrick Phillip is a Partner and Managing Attorney of Carlson Law Group’s Dallas, Texas office, where he leads the firm’s expansion into Texas while continuing to represent clients in both Texas and Alaska. He brings a strategic, results-driven approach to complex legal matters, with a practice focused on family law, commercial and business litigation, employment disputes, and permitting and licensing issues.

Patrick joined Carlson Law Group, LLC in 2018 as a remote intern during law school and quickly became a key contributor to the firm’s litigation practice. After graduating at the top of his class from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2019, he earned his Alaska and Texas law licenses and began practicing full-time with the firm. Over the years, he has developed a broad and sophisticated practice handling high-conflict divorce and custody matters, property and contract disputes, business litigation, and employment-related claims, while also advising clients navigating regulatory and licensing frameworks in the energy/environmental and alcohol/marijuana industries.

Patrick is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Alaska, allowing him to represent clients across jurisdictions and provide insight into multi-state legal issues. As Managing Attorney of the Dallas office, he focuses on delivering the personalized service of a boutique firm backed by the litigation experience and operational strength of a growing, multi-state practice.

A former Division I soccer player at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Patrick brings discipline, preparation, and competitive focus to his legal practice. He earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy and Economics. Patrick lives in Dallas with his wife and children.
